The balance of color and fluid motion in contained space is of great interest to me. Throughout my work I explore different pathways that occur in movement and gesture. I use materials such as glass and metal that were once liquid. I choose colors that have intrinsic qualities that evoke human response, often suggesting a place or experience. I shape these materials to emphasize elements of motion such as rhythm, contraction, release, pulsation, and flow and put them in architectural and sculptural frameworks.
